One day more

Yes, left one day to the end of Ramadan. Regret. Coz I didn't really make use of this Ramadan much, physically and spiritually. But day after tomorrow is Hari Raya!

Woohoo. Kinda happy, but the sucky part will be meeting relatives n putting on that smiley face everywhere i go. Being 21, i don't know if i'm still gonna get 'green packets'. I sure hope so. Coz i'm really tight on funds. All due to my bike lessons, and my future scooter (whatever it may be).

Went with the FOO to Bike Productions bike shop to buy his bike. He ended up getting a TZM, which looks quite good. Too bad he can't take it back with him today. Went to see vespas at the bike shop near Nuris' house. Man, they r selling ET8 (the auto vespa) at 6.4K! With insurance, it'll be 7+K! I obviously can't afford that... But after drooling over it, i think i've fallen in love with it. They say it's a ladies bike, but damn, it's fyne! The bike shop guy said Mojito isn't common in s'pore. So, that made me kinda hesitant to pursue it.

Goddamn TP test so far away! Shit... money's dried up. Gotta think twice abt finding work coz of other commitments... NS is looming, could come anytime soon... Things aren't looking too good.

Bangin to Nightwish!

Woah Damn! I'm still talking about Nightwish's Once. Spent the whole of yesterday listening to the first track of the album, "dark chest of wonders"... I thought, man... the first track is already so damn good, how could the rest of the album be any better? Today I listened to the second track, "Wished I had an Angel". It was, fuckin' Awesome! The hell with those who thinks, "ooh, nightwish is now electro-metal, it sucks now..." Labels... who the hell came up with all these genre labels. they don't tell a thing about how the music is. They've come up with new genres like Love Metal and more just to popularise their own music, so that they will sound original. Why can't they keep the genres simple and basic? Hmph! Electro-metal... What the hell man. It still sounds good, actually even better. It's just, Nightwish. And Nightwish Rocks.

I was so moved by the album which i bought two days ago, that I had forgotten the fact that I flung the 'test'. Yeah, that sucked. Oh well, got to return the books to Ah Tan soon.

Still no signs of NS calling. And I'm discovering loads of cool stuff about web designs and gfx stuff... Except, my untalented self can't put them to good use.. yet.

Yat Guitar messaged me, askin' if i wanna sell some efx pedal. He just doensn't learn that i aint tt good with the guitar to use all these efx. They cost a lot too. Then when i asked him if he's completed the band, he told me he's joined his brothers grp. There goes another chance to have a jamming band.... :( Damn guitar, what kinda future do you bring u piece of metal. Sian...

Foo's getting a bike soon. I'm still stuck at prac 8 and i'm having doubts if i can even make it for the January test. And the sad thing is... i'm already fantasizing about my dream bike, Aprillia Mojito 150. It's super cool.

Got chance to drive today, YAY! so I went n clear all my to-do list. Went to pay bills, settle uncle's medication, pay zakat, n check my accounts. Money still not in :(

Nightwish is THE BEST!

Just got back from Tarawih at Siglap Mosque. A bit bloated from the Briyani. First time taking 20 raka'ats today. Heheh... Ramadan's coming to an end this year. I dunno, I guess one can never know if he'll meet the next Ramadan.

On to worldly news... I have just bought the best Nightwish album EVER. Damn! The album was overpriced as hell, but it was worth it! Just like the Special Nightwish DVD I bought.

Once Cover

'Nightwish - Once' is an AWESOME album! I wanted to buy it since the day it was launched in Finland. Now, I have it in my hands, like a real Fan. Nightwish is the first band that I've become a fan of. I'm still listening to 'Dark Chest of Wonders' coz it's so nice! It's just the first track. Damn, it's worth every cent man!

Emppu, the guitarist just got a hell of a lot more brilliant. I mean, he's already so good in previous albums, but this one made him shine. And Tuomas, the guy who sort of started Nightwish, Keyboardist, preceeds his previous records. He's done it again. Tarja, the vocalist, doesn't sound as operatic as the previous albums. She's really nailed the music. Drummer Jukka and bassist Marco, excellent as always.

It's such a great album!

Hahhaa.. I'm just testing what the dang the block quotes are... Maybe that's why pple have these dang quotes on their entries.
Been busy trying to pass the bike quickly, in the process, I realised I had squandered my money. I'm broke, and still stuck at prac 8. Dang! This sucks. The TP test in in friggin' January! Provided I can pass prac 8 in time to book for the test. I don't even know if I'm gonna pass the 1st time round. Prac 8 is really tough. Small2 things oso wanna give points.
What else is going on in my life eh? There's that website... Got no ideas on how to continue the damn thing. It's at 'project tergendala' status.
HARI RAYA is COMING! YOWZER! I'm so happy. This year's gonna be the last year I celebrate before going into NS and having my life changed. Speakin' of NS... No sign of the blasted letter yet. Never mind, don't come yet. I wanna pass bike n buy bike 1st.

Insomniac...

I didn't sleep tonight. It's 4 am and I still don't feel sleepy. Tomorrow afternoon I have a bike prac. Just now, I passed prac 6 and felt very happy. I'm a step closer to acquiring that 2B license. Been playing around with graphic softwares like Photopaint and introducing myself to Adobe Photoshop. I still don't see why everyone likes it. It's kinda hard to use.
Anyway, the idea suggested by good ol' Shirley J (TP lecturer) is starting to sound good in my head. She told me, if I'm interested in media (design, film, audio n stuff) I should start building up a portfolio. I've been thinking, and yeah. It's a bloody good idea. I know I suck at most designing, and I got no dang experience in the other two fields. But since I'm interested, might as well give it a shot. I mean, my guitar playing is completely self-learned. Hopefully, I can accomplish something half as good as those who went through courses in design or video/audio.
Oh yeah, I hope to pick up playing piano too. Coz it's really cool. But I got no keyboard instrument to begin with. So....
